Workshop for students at TU Darmstadt

Nowadays, a study visit abroad is one of the qualifications expected of future academics.
This workshop will sensitise students for other cultures and prepare them specifically for their exchange in order to make their visit abroad successful, above all, as well as enjoyable. Using theory and practical examples, selected content is developed and consolidated. Students are given the opportunity to plan their time abroad specifically with expert guidance. Questions that are discussed in the workshop include: What is culture? What are inter-cultural skills and how do we act accordingly? What differences exist in perception and in the sense of values? How are culture and communication connected? What are the student's specific objectives for their studies/internship abroad? How do we behave in foreign cultures?
