TestDaF at Studienkolleg Darmstadt

TestDaF available now at TU Darmstadt

As of April 2017 the Studienkolleg of TU Darmstadt has become a licensed TestDaF-testing centre. TestDaF is an officially approved language examination for German as a foreign language developed by g.a.s.t. (Gesellschaft für Akademische Studienvorbereitung und Testentwicklung e.V. – Academic Association for Preparation for University Studies and Test Development). TestDaF can be taken in 96 countries all over the world and is an internationally acknowledged language certificate. The TestDaF certificate is proof of a high level of proficiency of German and enables international students to study at universities in Germany. However, the exam is not only aimed at potential students, but also at international scientists and researchers who seek employment at universities in Germany and wish to have their knowledge of German certified.

In offering the TestDaF examination in addition to the DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang), the Studienkolleg reacts to the rising demand for German language certificates and thus expands its support of international students who wish to study at TU Darmstadt or universities in Germany.
