Supplementary examination (EP)

Supplementary examination T and G

Applicants who have passed the Feststellungsprüfung and who want to begin a degree programme which their foreign qualifications but not the focus course they attended authorises them to take can take a supplementary examination at our Studienkolleg. They must have a conditional offer of a place at Technische Universität Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt), Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da), Hochschule RheinMain/ RheinMain University of Applied Sciences/ Wiesbaden Rüsselsheim, Hochschule Geisenheim University, or Evangelische Hochschule Darmstadt (EHD)

The supplementary examination tests the subjects of the focus course allocated to the newly-selected degree course. The performance in the Feststellungsprüfung is taken into account.

The supplementary examination can only be taken as an external student. If you do not pass the supplementary examination, you can retake it once, within one year. A certificate is issued once the supplementary examination is passed; this is valid in conjunction with the certificate from the Feststellungsprüfung. An examination entry fee of €200 is charged for the supplementary examination and must be paid to the office responsible before the first part of the examination is begun. Supplementary examinations are generally held twice a year (currently in July and January). We at the Studienkolleg Darmstadt are available to provide you with general advice.

You can find more information in the examination regulations (opens in new tab) .
