Requirement is passing the internal B2 examination after the first semester
Optional With good or very good results in the B2 exam:
DSH on 05.09.2026 (additional costs € 60)
Course offered Approx. 240 lessons
(approx. 480 lessons until DSH)
Course dates 15.04.2026 – 15.07.2026 (1st Semester)
September – December 2026 (2nd Semester)

Course time Monday to Friday: 1:45pm – 5:00pm
The DSH course will take place at Studienkolleg Darmstadt, Gebäude S4/07, Poststraße 5, 64293 Darmstadt.

Therefore, you need a certificate about having passed a German course on the appropriate level B1 (CEFR) e.g. Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, unicert.
Course fee € 740 (first semester)

Please do not transfer the course fee until you have received a request for payment from us by e-mail. Transfers done before requested to do so do not reserve a course and refund is only possible with a deduction of a service fee!

Cancellation After having paid the course fee, a cancellation is only possible 2 weeks before the course will start with a deduction of € 250. Reimbursement is only possible on a German account.
Note You have the possibility to register as a student at TU Darmstadt and to purchase a „bundesweites Semesterticket“ (ticket for public transport) for the duration of the course. This requires a validation of your university entrance qualification (HZB) checked for free at the TU Darmstadt.
